The guide was very friendly. He has good knowledge of caves and rock formations. I was afraid that the tour might be boring but it wasn’t. The cave is underground and the steps are quite steep. The cave itself is small compare to some other caves but it’s still a nice cave.

If you are into caves, history etc then this is a 'must do'. Unlike other limestone caves (around Mt Gambier etc) this is a dry cave. It is also relatively 'young' as caves go. some steep steps in and out - but all manageable.

We visited the Kelly Hill caves over the Easter Long Weekend and it was surprisingly quiet - we basically had a private tour! While it is definitely smaller than other caves (like the Jenolan caves) it is unspoilt and nice to see without hoards of people. There is also a nice spot to have lunch or stop for a snack... More

We arrived quite early and wandered the trails while waiting for the visitor centre to open. On the Burgess trail we were thrilled to see a koala walking along the path towards us, it veered onto a side track before it was spooked by a kangaroo and climbed into a tree. The tour of the cave system with our guide,... More

A small dry cave system on Kangaroo Island, but an interesting one. They had a couple of different tour options but we took the easy one. Our guide was lovely and very informative. Well worth the visit and reasonably priced.

I love limestone caves so i enjoyed the tour and Matt was a fountain of information. Be prepared for the stairs.

We did a tour of the caves and our guide, Matt, was very knowledgeable and told us much about the history and geology. Being a small group we also had the opportunity to ask lots of questions. The stalactites and stalagmites in the caves were very beautiful especially when lit up.

We have probably been spoilt, with Jenolan Caves being our ultimate caving experience. Kelly Hill was just not even a comparison. Interesting history but it just didn't cut it as far as beauty goes. Decided to have lunch there after our bush walk and were appalled to find possum scats covering every surface in the lunch area. Surely this would... More

Kelly Hill cave walk in group with guide every half an hour or so. Very short distance. But beautiful innside with stalagmites etc. Good guiding, explains all. You can hold pieces of rocks, heavy. Guide spends time asking what the forms look like.
