Saw this as part of the self guided walking tour. Really nice church with an extra tower. A landmark of the city

Worth dropping in to see this old church if you are in Battery Point. The day we visited, the door to the little museum was locked and we could only peer into the church through a glass partition. This is one of the earliest churches in Hobart. Worth a visit whilst touring Battery Point as it is at the highest point. Wonderful architecture and very interesting inside with enclosed pews. Has wheel chair access. Recommend dropping in and looking at the interior. Worth a visit whilst roaming.

This church is unusual! It is built with two huge Corinthian pillars out the front. The interior reminds me of a Masonic lodge. You can view the bell tower from all over Hobart especially as it is lite up at night. Well worth a view inside!

This one of the earliest churches in Hobart, in the lovely Battery Point area so it is surrounded by beautiful old houses, interesting residential streets, and views of the water. It is a functioning Anglican church, so services are held frequently. Take a look inside as the cedar boxed pews are interesting. There is a very small museum just inside... More
