This is a beautiful place almost anytime but the views are at their best on clear and fine days or when snow falls.

WE booked for Mt Wellington but the roads were iced up so this was the back up plan for the tour group. The driver was very friendly and the view was nice from up there.

It always seems to take longer to drive to it than you expect. But once you're there, you are overcome by the view and the differences as you walk around.

Great place to visit on a clear day. Several lookout areas and walking tracks all with great water views. Some very interesting history of the old signal station and its operation. Can be quite windy and cold some days.

Well worth the trip but if the weather is inclement I wouldn't advise a visit. It can be quite cold even in the summer so take a jacket

Pretty decent panoramic view of the bay. Unfortunately you can't see much of the city but overall one of the better easy to reach view points.
