Airport shuttle bus driver pointed it out for us and it was an everyday activity from then on! Great park! Shade for sitting, excellent slides and swings etc, a train track painted on the path for bikes - just fantastic. Kids just loved it.

I was visiting from interstate and took my children to the park. While it was well equipped with play things, there were some "groupie" events happening and all the seating/grass areas were taken. As its very popular with the locals we were squeezed out so went to leave and heading south out of West Hobart is a nightmare after 4pm.... More

This is a great park offering shade, seating, toilets and a range of outdoor options for different ' young' age groups.

This is a great place for tourists with kids to go. It was my boy's favourite destination. The train is lots of fun and the park has a really long slide on a slope so kids wont fall off a height. It also has a twin long slide on a slope for slide races. Bring a scooter if you can... More

Unless you have young children which need to be entertained it is not worth going unless you are into playgrounds anyway. Great place to have a no mess at home birthday party for the little ones.

A good place for children up to about 9 to fill in time. They will enjoy this as much as any tourist attraction. There are no particularly special features, but there's enough when combined with children's imaginations.

The train park is our local kids park. Our grandaughter loves it as much as her Mum and auntie did when they were children. Originally it had an old original train for children to climb (it was awesome) but that has gone and has been replaced by safe toddler friendly trains and slides. Still a great place for children to... More

We spend a lot of play time here, the kids love it, it has many different slides to choose from, a train to climb upon, and swings to swing on, plus you can bring balls to kick or even a frisbee, you can sit and have a BBQ on site, plenty of tables and shaded areas. Close to the shop... More

We like taking our 3 years grand son to here regularly, he loves this park and the long slides and swings. Who can not imagine driving the make believe train.
