This was a return visit with some friends. Previously we have done a distillery tour but unfortunately (for us) they are expanding and have building etc going on at the distillery, (and so no tours for the moment) which in the long run will make...More

I have had the opportunity to visit many wineries and breweries over a long period but had never visited a distillery before so this was a first. We were in Hobart for a few days break and I spotted a brochure for the Lark Distillery...More

We keep coming back to this place each time we visit Tassie! Great service alongside the range of whiskeys & gins on offer. I had a couple of G&T's with lemon & pepperberries which was nice on a rather warm hobart day. You can also...More

Could not fault this establishment. Doesn’t appear to be much from the outstanding and don’t expect the decor to reflect what is the actual outstanding range of guns and whisky available that are distilled in Tasmania. I would say that the gin would be the...More

Good Gin but the bloke serving and providing tasting just seemed to be going through the motions. Venue is nice and relaxed but suggesting you visit...if you just wish to purchase then I wouldn't but if for a tasting then do so; we won't! !More

Absolutely lovely, relaxed atmosphere to sample and enjoy world class whisky. Recommend by a local, frequented by locals and enjoyed by all. A welcoming bar with character and charm. Shame it shuts a 7 on week nights....maybe that’s a good thing?

Recent visit on a cold and rainy day, after walking through Salamanca Markets. Lark's is within easy walking distance, so if you already have a great car park, just leave the car where it is and walk. Plenty on offer to taste, you may pay...More

Our first port of call for our first Friday night in Hobart. Lovely warm place - actually and figuratively. Comfy armchairs and friendly service. Had gin tasters - 3 for $15 which was great value and a whiskey which hit the spot after a cold...More

The tasting flight includes two whiskies and their liqueur. I think it was $20.
