A great central location for a stay in Hobart and an east walk into Salamanca Market on Saturdays and to Battery Point too. Sandy Bay has some nice cafes, eateries and shops to relax and spend some time at.

We spent some time driving around this area. The casino area had a large parking area and is very crowded. The beaches area was very beautiful. Nice place to just sit and relax. There were many restaurants around but some were quite upmarket and expensive.

Lots to see and do. Great architecture, shops and eateries. A place of historic importance to the Hobart area and Tasmania. Parks for picnics and playgrounds to entertain families and friends over a BBQ.

Plenty of eateries as well as lovely apartments and so close to the city. If you're feeling energetic you can walk to the city from here.
