Day 1: We started off our Wilsons Prom weekend in Tidal Falls in one of the new cabins – these are spacious and fully equipped with a full kitchen and outdoor dining area. Squeaky Beach is worth a visit, but watch out for the ginormous flies – they bite! Day 2: We decided to hike (departed at 8.10am) from Tidal... More

We walked out to the lighthouse (managed by Victoria National Parks) an easy going 20km walk with our own provisions for 2 nights. We stayed at the Couple's Cottage, bed linen, pillows and towels provided. The cottage has a fully functioning kitchen with micro wave and stove. Tea and coffee is supplied but bring your own milk. You need to... More

This is a beautiful location with fantastic views. There are cottages to rent through the National Park. We hiked to the Lighthouse which was hard work for 60+ year olds. The cottage was wonderful and extremely comfortable. It was well equipped.

Visited in November 2016 and spent a night in one of the cottages. The lighthouse keepers are an incredibly nice couple, eager to share their enormous knowledge of the history of the place, light house technicals and Wilsons Prom geography and nature. In the lighthouse there is a tiny museum presenting artifacts from the past like old Fresnel Lens that... More

We spent 2 nights at Cooks Cottage (the self-contained couples cottage). We stayed one night previously and vowed to return for a 2 night stay. We chose our 25th wedding anniversary for the occasion to make this happen. So glad we did. The view out of the window when you first enter the cottage after a 20km walk is simply... More

You need a high level of walking fitness to make it to the lighthouse but it's well worth it. Great hosts for our overnight stay in the #4 cottage. We were toasty warm and the bed was excellent. We had a tour of the lighthouse in the morning which was incredibly interesting so don't miss it. We went when windy... More

Just love this location, beautiful buildings & stunning scenery. If you visit you should stay a night or two to soak it all up. Hot showers, kitchen, bathrooms and Lounge areas, all with to die for views.

My wife and I spent an overnight stay at the Lighthouse cottages end of May and were delighted in our decision to do this trip. Lucky enough to have perfect weather thrown in. While the walk in and out was very exhausting, the experience was unforgettable. Beautiful scenery, stunning accommodation setting and friendly hosts. Our only advice would be to... More

Stunning and the rangers are great. We stayed 2 nights in Banks cottage and were glad of the extra night. I did due diligence on what we needed to carry but found we didn't need tea, coffee, shampoo, soap & condiments. (Lightweight but it all adds up). Recommend dehydrated food & powdered milk. Keep an energy bar for the final... More

While I didn't stay overnight I did get a good look around. The views from within and around the accommodation are breathtakingly beautiful. The hosts Colin and Renata are such lovely people, nothing was a problem for them. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the Museum was wonderful and well worth a look at. Put this place on your bucket list,... More
