Worth detouring for

A eco friendly establishment set in native bush. The chocolate is very high quality and you can watch it being made. They serve fantastic hot chocolate in "hug mugs". I felt the... read more

Great little place to stop for a drink and snack. We just missed the chocolate talk but the lovely lady told us all about the process and showed us what the chocolatier was doing. You can watch them making the chocolates which is very cool. We brought a small selection of goodies and the chocolate was deliciously amazing!

Beautifully set in a bushland setting a few mins before Daylesford. Great play equipment outside for children. Delicious drinks made from local produce and of course the chocolate made on the premises. Great gift shop with souvenirs and hand made chocolates. Plenty of tables with seating and clean comfortable toilets. Plenty of room to love with a pram / stroller.... More

Thank goodness you deliver because I want this chocolate all the time. My favourite is the block with coconut in it. But my dad loves the diabetic chocolate. He's crazy about it... now I can order and get it delivered if I can't drive there.

The marketing for this place is great. You can find them listed online almost everywhere and in the local tourist brochures. The disappointing thing is the arrival. You arrive expecting some massive chocolate place with a tour of the factory. Instead there is a small viewing window (read about 4 people across) of a small factory making chocolates. You view... Quite a simple place that has a great selection. The slab chocolate is a little crumbly but overall quite nice.

This is more of a shop than a mill. We had chilli hot choc at the cafe and a banana caramel cake. Both were tasty

It's a nice enough diversion but really not a destination. Chocolates were ok but not exceptional. Place lacked any real interest or insight and is essentially a shop for overpriced chocolate. If you love Margaret River Choc shop or better still Haighs in Adelaide, you'll be very disappointed. Not in the same league. No samples on offer either which seems... More

A eco friendly establishment set in native bush. The chocolate is very high quality and you can watch it being made. They serve fantastic hot chocolate in "hug mugs". I felt the milk chocolate one was a little bit sweet but the hot chilli was great if you like a slight kick. Slightly disappointed that they weren't doing samples despite... More

Hand made chocolates are never cheap & given the raw fairtrade certified chocolate callebaut from Belgium has come a long way would add to the cost of raw material & it's also a perishable product sensitive to temperature challenges. Enjoyed the dark chilli hot chocolate ..... a little sweet but not sickly being a connoisseur of 80 - 90% dark... More
