Easy to access via tram, driving or approx 10min walk from Southern Cross Station. Massive centre with 9+halls and lecture theatre style set ups. Food/small cafes are located within the centre on the ground level. Clean facility, ATMs, vending machines (tech stuff too I think),...More

Attended a convention at the Plenary. Have visited before and been an organiser of an event at the Plenary. Great venue; can be tough to get to by car (navigating traffic, that is), but easy to access by tram and on foot if you're staying...More

Visiting the Home Show yesterday was well worth while experience Except the appalling lack of Hot Drink vendors. Of the 4 food outlets that appeared could be open only 3 were open to sell food and only 3 open to sell hot beverages and of...More

The Convention Centre is a great facility and adjacent to the historic Polly Woodside as well as the Exhibition Centre which is affectionately known as Jeff's Shed. The casino is nearby as is Southbank - with endless options for eating and sightseeing. The light rail...More

These exhibition building does a fantastic job with all its stuff they hold there. The good Friday appeal was so well set out with plenty to do. We had a ball. Have been a few exhibits here and it has everything

Went there last week to attend an international conference. The place was real huge, nothing compares to the convention center in Jakarta. Located next to the Yarra River, makes it a real perfect place to spend time after finishing the conference.

These people know how to run a big event. Food was so fabulous and healthy. Great event. It would have been useful to have the names of the workshops on the doors of the events. Also it took me a while to work out the...More

Hi, i am thinking of seeing KD Lang here in July 2017 but at present the only available seats that I can afford are Balconly 2 & 3 and Balcony 7 & 8 which on the website look like they are right up the back of the hall and on the side. These seats are $141 each but I really do not want to spend that much if I am right up the back and its only going to be a "spec" I can see on the stage. Has anyone else been to a music concert here and had to sit right up the back in the balcony area. I'm guessing the sound quality would be good but just not the viewing part of it up the back. Thanks

I have been to a play there and it was awful. You can only see the stage from the big Rv screens, so it is definitely not worth spending that sort of money for distant seats. The only seats worth having are up close.

Hi, in the Flat Floor Seating section, which rows are best? Is the front row too close to the stage to be able to get a comfortable view (do you need to twist your neck up at the stage to see?). Is veiwing still comfortable from the back row of the Flat Floor Seating? I'm just wondering how high the stage is and if the people infront would block out a lot of the view. Thanks in advance :)
