Gift from family for milestone birthday - very good!

Received the gift voucher for a birthday (old enough that the candles would set fire to a city block if they could afford to buy them) and went with the family to fly a 737. Instructor was awesome and tool time to explain things and help me control the aircraft in and out of runways. Very Very Good and makes... More

I was only an observer, but my two friends who actually did the flying really enjoyed the experience, you need to concentrate on what you are doing, the staff are very patient & knowledgeable & make flying the B737 a persperation inducing reality!

Went on the 60 minute Flight package. The cockpit is a total replica of a 737 plane, with all the knobs and buttons that work. My co-pilot Andrew was very good at explaining how it all comes together and what to do. After a take off from Melbourne Airport, I landed at Sydney. A bit of a shaky landing, but... More

I came here to celebrate birthday with friends. It's really interesting experience! Secluded in the simulator with co pilot, it feels nothing different with the real world flight deck. You get to choose airport, weather conditions, day/night etc. While flying, you can hear the noise (engine, thunders...) and see clouds n city overviews. There will be a brief before the... More

I spend a lot of time in aircraft for work, my family for a present sent me to Flight Experience for a gift, so instead of being the passenger in the back I could be the captain up front, this is a well worth experience, the staff are helpfully and friend and just want you to have the best experience... It's very realistic & if you want to learn & improve, it's quite demanding. But you could relax & just go with the flow if that's your thing. Instructor is very clear & adapts to your pace. Great fun also for the family or friend "passenger" who can see everything happening. Have wanted to do it for years & wonder... More

If you're interested in what's happening up front of your B737, this is a great experience. The pilots are really good and happy to explain exactly what's going on.

I've been back to Flight Experience twice now and love it. The Captains I had both times were very friendly and informative. I was able to have as much or as little control of the aircraft as I wanted. The Captains both explained how to steer the plane to taxi on to the runway...not as simple as you think! The... More

Although this was my husband’s birthday present, given some months ago, we didn’t get around to booking until two weeks before Christmas… and were pleasantly surprised to find that there were specials on offer for Christmas! We saved $50 on a 1-hour flight. As we were in the city, we booked in person; the initial booking was completed efficiently and... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
