Melbourne is known for its outlet shopping malls. This tour takes you to the places you have never heard of. Lots of time in the bus, some items hardly discounted, felt like tour operator more interested in her commission at friends retail outlets than meeting customers needs. Very disappointing as this was the day I was most looking forward to.

Had a great day with Tracy. Her driving and parking skills were impressive! Visited some great places but was a bit disappointed with a few. Half the bus would have been size 10-12 but we went to the TS size 14-24 warehouse.I know it must be hard to cater for everyone but perhaps a questionnaire prior to the day asking... More

We had a group of mums and daughters, there were a few stops/shops that didn't cater to everyone. The bonds store converse store and mink pink were ok for the younger girls. We thought we'd get a few more bargins or different stock but we didn't. It was great to be driven around and seeing the outer suburbs. Lunch was... More

We were picked up on time by Tracey. Bus clean and her driving was safe! Weather was windy and wet. Tracey did her best to drop us near our destination and return and pick us up nearby so we did not become too wet. Lunch was very tasty as was the glass of bubbles! Met wonderful people and learnt a... More

Thanks for your feedback! I'm so pleased you had a great time despite the weather. It was such a shame given that it was 21C just the day before! But that's Melbourne for you! Tracey is such an asset to Melbourne Shopping Experiences and really cares about all her guests. I've passed on your feedback to her. We look forward... More

The shopping was great fun. There was three of us this time with Tracey and Rose as our guides. Ots of laughs, lots of shopping. Will go again next time in Melbourne. I went by myself and everyone makes you feel welcome

My friends and I enjoyed an excellent day out shopping on the Bargains and Bubbles tour. We were picked up from our hotel promptly at the specified time. We were taken to numerous outlets that we could not have reached on our own, including warehouses, wholesalers and factory outlets. Lunch was delicious in a beautiful old pub. Overall a fabulous... the day started with a very friendly guide but that was where the experience stopped, we where told that basically that bridge road was not worth going to as the there where few shops still operating, so why take us there??? the high light off the day was visiting the street and driving past Molly Meldrums home. The lunch at... More

I'm sorry you were unhappy with your tour and surprised at your comments that your guide made about Bridge Rd as that is one of the stops on all of our tours! Our guests are given the opportunity to explore the shops on Bridge Rd, however we don't spend all day there as there are not as many outlets located... More

I had done this tour approximately 6 or 7 years ago with the same group of girls I was travelling with on this trip to Melbourne. We weren't that impressed at the time, but we were keen to give it another go. So glad we did. Our tour guide Tracey was very helpful and pointed out some of Melbourne's historic... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
