My first time in Australia and my friends took me to ladies day. I'm so thankful they did. Drinks I thought were priced pretty well, don't try taking in your own drinks as they have security looking out for prohibited items. An amazing atmosphere. The only downfall of the day is the queues to get the train back to the... More

Loved this place. Came here with our dog, Lucas. He loved it too. The races had happened only two/three weeks ago, so it was absolutely beautiful, the roses were gorgeous.

We had the best 4 days of racing for the spring carnival. We were in the the hill stand in the skyline restaurant for 2 days and the other 2 days in the Makybe Diva Marquee. Wonderful food and service

A must visit for the true racing fan. I have been to the Kentucky Derby (every year), Belmont, Saratoga, Breeders Cup, Royal Ascot in London, The ARC in Paris, and the elegance of the flowered trellis walk into the track at Flemington for the Melbourne Cup is at the top of my list.

First time visitor for the spring festival having been a regular at Cheltenham, Aintree , Punchestown and Ascot among others. Wonderful facilities beautifully laid out , with an extremely warm and friendly crowd. Very easy to get various types of food and drink. Train from Flinders Street stops outside and offers a fantastic service. Great place , great times

We decided to attend the Melbourne Cup, first Tuesday in November. The best way to get to Flemington Racecourse is by the train, either from Southern Cross or Flinders Station. The crowd was very festive. Everyone was dressed up. The experience was great. Reminds people from the USA would think of Kentucky Derby. Getting to and from the races was... More
