There is also a fabulous hands on wild life park in Perth called Whitman park. You can interact with the kangaroos see koalas and they have a great wildlife animal show. It’s a lovely park with lots to see and do.

No I do not think so. I can't remember any area for touching animals. However the Melbourne Aquarium has a feely pool with star fish, sponges and shells that can be touched.
