Great laugh at excellent price

The atmosphere is very enjoyable, staff are very friendly and the acts are always hilarious. Food is okay for the cost but it is majority worth it just for the great acts.

Two friends and I booked dinner and show on Saturday October 24, the headline act was Dave O'Neill. We arrived at 7pm but the theatre was locked up. At 8pm, the manager of the restaurant next door rang the manager of the theatre who told him he believed the show had been cancelled. We had not received a text or... More

It's great to take some time away from the seriousness found most places, and it made for a really fun night. The comedy club is nestled in a historic building directly opposite the larger performance complex. It's not much to look at inside, but definitely brings a fitting relaxed vibe. I found the staff all to be very friendly, and... More

We have so much fun. You can't get better value for money. We always have the dinner and show package. By the time we get home we are already planning our next trip. The comedians are constantly changing so each time is a different show.

I chose to celebrate my birthday this year at the comedy club with a whole bunch of friends. I hve decided to do it again next you. It was such a successful night. We paid for the dinner and show. The dinner was very standard but edible. What do you expect for $49 three course dinner and a show. All... More

I've attended the Edinburgh Festabesta and recently saw Matt Elsbury & Sally Kimpton, and have absolutely enjoyed it! The venue itself is great, hosted in a beautiful building with plenty of seating and private bar. The comedians are always very professional and so different from each other, so you leave feeling like youve just experienced something very unique. It absolutely... More

What a great night with Dave Thornton, Asher Treleaven and Fabien Clark! Booking was easy : Just one phone call, one number, one date, one time. Fabien was shabby and funny, Asher Treleaven was neat and funny and Dave Thornton was all three! I really had the best time : laughed at Dave Thornton's font joke (I'm a writer OK:... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
