The Cricketers Bar, part of the Windsor hotel so we visited for some arrival drinks, it's hard to say the service was outstanding and almost felt like we where an inconvenience to the staff serving us. Not sure I would recommend visiting this bar.

I was staying at the hotel and decided to visit the Cricketers Bar. I had the steak eggs and chips and it was very tasty. Friendly service from the guys behind the bar

We were looking for a nice place prior to seeing a show so popped into the cricketers. The service was fabulous, the wine wonderful and food outstanding. Our host was the lovely Tamara. She provided service and professionalism in abundance. We were in a bit...More

For two days, we had admired the Windsor Hotel, on our walks along Spring Street, so on July 25, we decided to check out their Windsor’s Cricketers Bar for some wine. We crossed Spring St, and tried the door, just a bit north of the...More

Had a lovely Sunday Roast here, food was delicious. Waiting staff was very nice and helpful. Didn't catch her nam but was off on a ski trip the next day. Very chatty and polite. Would return if back in Melbourne.

This popular watering hole for locals always offers an interesting and different menu (green olive & polenta chips with herb mayonnaise) and a new wine list whilst coping with a very busy happy hour each evening (beers on special). Popularity means a higher noise level...More

Always a good bar to visit. Had a nice Virgin Mary - nicely spiced but had no celery bits etc... The dusted school prawns with dipping sauce / fresh lemon went really well. Was nice and clean as always and staff friendly.

Generally good but sometimes bad. It's a reliable option off Spring St for an ale or two but sometimes it goes awry. Two good g and ts is good. A third that tastes of tonic alone is bad. I'd go to Romeo Lane every time...More

Went in for a look at the memorabilia and ordered a meal. The meal that came was not what I ordered. That was fixed straight away. I was apologised to several times and was given a free beer also. It is how you treat your...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary

throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next

even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Depends what time you are visiting. I got in with shorts and thongs but it was only early. I would try but have a back up plan (longs & shoes) incase they don't allow you entry. It is a really nice pub that is actually still... More
