ACMI is a wonderful place to visit in Melbourne. Its brilliant exhibitions about film making, film makers and film making history are great. Perhaps what is most interesting, for a millennial, would be the section for gaming and VR ( Virtual Reality ). The Minecraft...More

Really enjoyed the exhibition with my adult daughters. Wouldn’t recommend it for young children but my granddaughter 11 would love it. Great seeing the story though the years, the drawings and the obvious impact this tale has had. The Mad Hatters Tea party light show...More

We visited for the Alice in Wonderland exhibition which was great. Had been to the permanent exhibition re the evolution of TV before. Also worth checking it out if you are visiting.

I did become quite absorbed in the permanent exhibition. I did leave earlier than I would have liked because I needed to get away from the noise I was bombarded with.

I believe the Alice in wonderland exhibit would have been a lot more entertaining had they not let so many people in at once. You had to book an entry time however there just seemed to be so many people in such tiny spaces that...More

As an Alice fan since a child it was wonderful to experience this interactive exhibition. Loved choosing which door to go through first. The information labels and films were interesting and educational. It was fun and the tea party was wonderful.

Free entry to the ACMI but a charge to see the Wonderland exhibition (which was really interesting and entertaining too!).

Cannot imagine we can spend a few hours there, watching the short and creative film, playing the interactive games there. Real fun.

As always the exhibition this month was well worth a visit, no matter what age. We began with an explanation and a ‘chipped ‘ card to increase our interactive pleasure. Lots of doors to open, lots of information on the moving images that have been...More

This is situated close to the Visitors centre. Entry to this place is free and nice atmosphere. If you are interested in Film making camera etc. this is a nice place. I really liked the architecture of this glass building.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the

throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
