Not good enough to serve a sticky brioche without a serviette or cutlery, even if I am the first sit down customer of the day. Of course, cutlery arrived when I asked for it. The brioche and the hot chocolate was superb, as usual.

It took me forever to decide what to order from their dessert menu, because they have a huge selection and it all sounds amazing. We sat down for coffee and ended up ordering the chocolate and raspberry vanilla cream puff. The puff was way better than I expected because the vanilla cream blew my mind. Delicious! I'll definitely be coming... More

Visited after dinner for coffee and desserts, the affacato was amazing , so smooth , flavorful and creamy. We also had macchiato coffee but did not get a chance to try the hot chocolate they are famous for. The outlet was busy with families and groups , with less tourists traffic at this suburb location.

Ok i appreciate it is table service only because the counter is primarily for chocolate sales. The glass of water was a nice touch and then after the glass was empty the carafe of water was ok too but we really wanted coffee and a couple of chocolates so it just ended up being a really slow way to get... This place is a hidden gem inside the Block Arcade near Bourke Street Mall. They have a big variety of chocolates to try and the Hazelnut Belgian Chocolate is to die for. It has got a good ambience and the staffs are very friendly. They do gift packs as well, in case you have got some birthdays or anniversaries to... More

Situated in a characterless arcade this chocolate shop is a must do. The dine in menu is filled with great choices. The hot chocolate is a delight, and the chocolate meals awesome. You can also buy individual chocs if you desire. You can sit outside in the arcade on the ground floor or upstairs. Upstairs is lovely, you look down... More

Love this place!! All things chocolate 😋 done very well. My only regret is that we didn't find Koko Black sooner, so that we could go back every day!

Great coffee shop, smack bang in the middle of Melbourne CBD. My wife, her sister and I, had coffee and a toasted sandwich each, in this mid-CBD coffee shop, and we all thought it was very good, without going into raptures. We went upstairs, where seats at tables accommodated a dozen or so people ! I would recommend it if... More

I love hot chocolate here. It's cocoa and creamy. So delicious. Vanilla ice cream is good too. Many customers here,so, we have to queue about 10 minutes.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
