They go around the city regularly and they are safe convenient and free How can you lose! The only problem would be if you struck one of the grubs who, unfortunately, are in abundance in Melbourne.

1) It's free 2) It is a nice tram ride around the city with commentary about the places it passes. Loved it.

A great way to see the city and learn about Melbourne. The old tram 35 goes around the city circle and is easy to recognise. A good experience. Check what time it ends as it finishes early on weekends.

A great tool for weary travelers in need of a moving seat. Easy to follow for out of towners, and hits the places needed for finding tours!

We tried the free circle city tram it was jam packed and came very infrequently. Sometimes it's just easier to walk it!

Experience a trip on a old tram around the city. It is a good way to sight see and orient yourself. It is free and can take you from one end of town to the other.

The free tram is an old traditional tram and may be difficult to climb onboard . The new trams are wheelchair accessible and it is not expensive to travel on them.
