We use the SkyBus everytime we visit Melbourne and the service is fantastic. The hotel shuttle from the southern cross station is quick and right to the door. Cannot fault this company, will continue to use it again and again.

We bought tickets from the airport to southern Cross station recently. The service was very efficient and fast and we had a transfer to our hotel too. This was easy to arrange and will be using the return service in a few days time.

Its a practical way to get to town. Hop on. No stops. Straight to downtown Melbourne. Bus is clean, drivers are helpful and friendly. Reasonable rates.

With uncertainty over traffic and cab fares, we decided to try the Skybus. If you are staying in the CBD, you can't go past it. Whisked into the city, you then transfer to a shuttle bus to your hotel. If you are a single or...More

Come on Melbourne. Time to get yourself an airport train like an adult. Skybuses are vintage. And inconvenient. And traffic dependent.

Queuing in the hot sun for ten minutes to buy a paper ticket is a bit crap. It should be possible to buy a ticket with my flight booking, or just tap a credit card on boarding the bus. The buses are gleaming on the...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Just go to the hotel shuttle booth (as you get off the City Express bus from the airport, this booth will be on the lefthand side) and advise the staff that this is your intention and they can advise you on the best course... More

Id say skybus is cheaper...online you can buy return ticket, 2 adults 4 children for $70, thats airport to city hotel plus city hotel to airport. There is no way a taxi would be cheaper than $35 one way.

The buses depart every 15 minutes or so, so there really isnt a huge wait. AS we were buying our tickets, one bus left, and another bus appeared, so the 15 minutes that we were told was only about 3 minutes. Plus, there is... More
