I went to this place on Easter. Many visitors came to this area during that time. probably because it was public holiday. The view is very beautiful. We really enjoy it. We only spend couple of hours walking thru the rail and walking path.

Plenty of accommodation options or just enjoy for the day. Guilderton is where the river meets the beach with a sandbar in between - perfect for all water based activities.

With ample parking at river mouth, with bar and toilet facilities was a great paddle up stream, so peaceful and quiet and a lovely paddle. Well worth the trip.
