We camped here for two nights while travelling the Gibb River Road. Huge campground so plenty of room to spread out. There are basic toilet/shower. Plenty of wildlife around, and they have their own gorges on the property that you can visit - highly recommend, it's beautiful.

After a long day of driving we arrived at Mt Elizabeth, the welcome was anything but friendly and she seemed quiet annoyed that we had arrived. There was no recommendations on what to do once we had arrived there. We went for a short and boring walk around the property, that wasn't very well signed. We arrived back at our... More

Nice homely atmosphere in remote location. Nice home style meal. Accommodation basic but adequate for this remote location. Would have liked a bit more information on activities to do or some tour options of the area even though my time there was limited.

Half way through our Kimberley road trip, we arrived at Mt Elizabeth Station full of expectations. The advertising was full of promise - experience life on a working cattle station, chat over a delicious homemade meal with the friendly locals etc. what a shock we were in for. We were totally ignored when we arrived - was way more important... More

Came into this station as a stopover while travelling the Gibb River Rd. Was a pleasant surprise! Very friendly welcome and can basically park up wherever you like. Didnt use bathrooms so cannot judge these, only used long drops outside which werent too bad.

We ended up at Mount Elizabeth by accident - the place we had intended to stay was on fire. It became one of the highlights of our long trip, as unexpected finds often do. The campsite facilities are really basic, especially in comparison to the facilities at touristy places like Home Valley and El Questro. At Mt Elizabeth you get... More

The turnoff to Mount Elizabeth Station is 340km from Derby and another 30km or so to reach the Homestead. Travelling on the Gibb you will already know that it is 4WD access only. When we arrived we were provided with afternoon tea in the lush front garden surrounds. The accommodation is fairly basic in the rooms, with no TV or... More

We used Mount Elizabeth as a stopover to and from the Munja Track. Plenty of tent sites, it was clean and tidy and campfires allowed. Bathroom facilities could do with some maintenance work and a good clean. But we have been in worse so we appreciated the hot shower. Had a meal at the homestead which was good home cooking.... I stayed in campground which was basic but open, quiet and pleasant. The gorge is accessed by a slow, rocky track (10km) but well worth the effort. There is some really wonderful rock art on the property and some good wildlife. Mt Elizabeth station was a great side trip that really added to my experience and understanding of the Kimberly... We enjoyed our stay at Mt Elizabeth Station. The accommodation is basic but very clean and includes shared bathrooms which may not be everyone's "cup of tea". Dinner and breakfast were included and the meals were hearty and filling. There is a beautiful gorge on the property that we visited at the end of 10 km of pretty terrible road.... More
