This is an old Catholic Convent which now closed and opened as a museum. It is nearly 100 years old-built in 1926 and is free to see-only a donation is liked. It has a few rooms of interesting history and is well worth a visit.

The Relationships Exhibition is aptly named. Enter this representation of the Irish nun's physical and spiritual relationship with the dispossessed people of the Kimberley and be open to learning.

This was a real eye-opener showing the courage and persistence of the nuns in this then remote part of the world - putting in perspective the good that has come from religious orders at a time when the churches are under scrutiny. Highly recommended to...More

We came upon the SSHG Heritage Centre by accident, and ended up spending 2 hours there. The display is excellent and describes in detail the history of the sisters of St John of God and their pioneering health and education work among the remote communities...More
