Stopped briefly while returning on tour from Horizontal falls. The church's interior is decorated by local Pearl Shells.

If you're driving up the peninsular then definitely call in to Beagle Bay to see this church with its mother of pearl adornment inside. Lots of places around Broome shut down from about 11am until about 1pm so don't rely on getting supplies at the local store if you're there between those times.

A must see on your travels displaying history and sharing treasured memories with all. The inside of the church is covered with the mother of pearl shell so intricate and delicate. A place to visit if you need to have a moment to reflect and find solace. A time to pray for those of our famlies that are far from... More

Most of have seen the photos of the church, but it is well worth the drive to see this church.. it is not the whole church made of shells, but the alter and side tables, and frames, still magnificent to see.

We spent 2 minutes here - while interesting it is really not worth going out of your way to see. The interior has an amazing decoration of shells. That is really all I can say about it!

One of the places we visited on our Horizontal Falls full day tour, stopped here for morning tea before the drive to Cape Leveque

Beautiful church and stunning shell alters. Well worth the visit particulalry if you're religious. There was a locally run bakery and general store that had everything you needed for a short stopover. The local community members were lovely.

This is a very interesting church to visit and was part of our day tour to Cape Leveque. The way the Pearl Shells have been used within the Church is very good and is used around the Alter and windows.
