You'll need an off-roader (unless you walk) to get to the beach, and the ability to climb down, then back up, steep rock. In low tide the rock pools are active with crabs, sea slogs, little fish, and hermit crabs. the water is shallow but deep enough to allow for some good snorkelling. You'll see plenty of fish as you... More

In contrast to famous cable beach this has orange coloured, course sand. Walking feels like in deep snow. Water colour is tourqois, not blue. Due to tidal movement swimming is a challenge, but worth it. Parking is nearby and easy.

Reddell Beach is our surprise find in Broome this time, it’s stunningly beautiful. The white sand & blue water surrounded by Pilbara red rock. The colour is striking! Best of all, we have the whole beach by ourselves! It’s a bit hard to get to, but it definitely worth visiting.

Great beach for photography, watching the sunset, fossicking amongst the rocks, having a quick dip in the water, fishing, walking, sun bathing or just sightseeing.

Reddell Beach has always been a secret that you really had to be living in Broome (as we were) to learn about. Beautiful red rocks, beautiful white sand, beautiful blue water. it's a great place to go to in the hot late afternoon/early evening, as it's not really a good safe swimming spot, and you will definitely need a car... You have to access this spot by the pindan roads, at the back of Gantheaume Point but the view is amazing; the red rocks against the azure blue sea is spectacular and no matter what time of the day you are in a an amazing view... sunset is extraordinary

Decided to walk from Gantheaume Point to town via Broome Port and the dirt road. The rugged coastline and cliffs we followed were amazing. And the deserted (except for 2 skinny dipping free campers) Reddell Beach was beautiful to look at from above.

The most beautiful & interesting little beach that most tourists dont even seem to find, great rock formations, perfect spot to unwind & while away the time. Broome's little treasure.

Great beach for fishing. Mangroves nearby, small markets held here on a thursday, was a surprise. Much quieter than cable beach.
