    Stunning!
What a beautiful ever changing beach! From high tide (Kind tide when we were there) to low tide, sand to rocks, day time to sunset. Very very clean and good WCs close by and lovely grassy areas behind the beach with good cycle paths too. Loved it. Highly recommend the beach equipment rental. Was so good to have sunloungers and an umbrella. Very efficient service indeed. The second you leave, the guy is there to reassign to someone else. And watch out if you put your stuff on anything you haven't paid for, it will be removed and the equipment taken away, quick smart!

    Unbelievably big tides beautiful beach
Wow firstly I could not believe how far the tides come in around here . We went to cable beach and the tide was going out in fact the life guards had to keep moving their flags every half hour or so to keep up lol . Huge beach very long , great sand to walk on because it’s mostly wet the best part is you can hire umbrellas, chairs and kids boogie boards . 2hr umbrella hire $10 we hired and umbrella and 2 beach chairs for 2 hrs at $25 . Since we are tourists from Sydney we we’re wary of swimming even though we could see others swimming in the beach we wanted to know more about the local crocs and irukanji. We spoke to the lifeguards which were fantastic they explained everything to us which made us feel better even though yes there are irukanji and they usually scoop regularly but due to the current they couldn’t that day but no one has been stung in quite awhile , also factors of water temp , tides and time of the year play a big part . Basically it can happen but not likely . Tide was going out as well so that was even better. Crocs well they can be spotted sometimes swimming across out the back of the waves but very rarely come in close but if one is spotted they close the beach immediately. If you want to swim it seems to be well managed and checked as long as you only swim at this beach we’re there are lifeguard on duty , the other side of Broome is not as safe . So yes we swam absolutely loved it we left before sunset as apparently it gets packed then as everyone comes to watch the sunset .

    First time to Cable Beach
We visited Cable Beach for the Sunset Camel Ride and was surprised to see all the 4WD vehicles arriving to drive over some rocks and spend time on the beach to watch the sunset. Once settled out came the chairs, food and drink. I don't know if 4WD's are allowed to stay overnight or just for a few hours.

Cable beach is the best beach in the world. As the landing in from the edge of the water to going in the ocean, there are no rocks or seaweeds when I was there. It is therefore the perfect beach for long distance swimming during the dry season
(I was there July/ August).
There's a 3-4 kms stretch on the
secluded section which is perfect for walking !
The only downside is at North of the rocks, there is a lot of 4wd, so stay south of the rocks.
Also at the southern end, gantheaume pt, there's also a lot of 4wd, so should be avoided.
However, the 3-4 kms stretch where no vehicles allowed, as mentioned above, is secluded with awesome high dunes and perfect for long walks, solitude and swimming short and long distance during the months of July August September. It doesn't get better than this anywhere else in the world.

This beach is absolutely stunning a definite must if you are in Broome. We hired loungers and an umbrella for 4 hours which cost around $30. The guys take care of carrying everything to the area you want and then put the umbrella up along with the loungers. Very friendly and very helpful. We had lunch at the nearby cafe (sorry can’t remember the name of it but the pizza was delicious). Surf life are also on the beach.

A beautiful beach of white sand is a must visit when in Broome. Sit or drive on the beach at low tide and watch the beautiful sunset and the glorious colours once the sun goes down. Cafes are not far from the beach to enjoy great food and drinks.

The tidal differences are enormous in Broome so picking your time to visit is important. Low tide allows 4WD car access on the beach and a chance to walk amongst the rocks looking for dinosaur prints . This is also where you can have a camel ride or watch the camels parading across the beach.
Sitting on the grass or walking on the sand at sunset is absolutely magical.
It's very hot and you might want to hire an umbrella if staying for a while.
Several bars open to the public face the beach too.

Fantastic beach. It's well set up with a patrolled area where you can safely swim and it's easy to hire umbrellas and sunshades. If you want to get away from the crowds, the beach is almost deserted if you just walk a couple of minutes. There are facilities right above the beach including toilets, showers and a fabulous restaurant / takeaway (Zanders). The beach is tidal and there's quite a difference between high tide and low tide.

Beautiful long beach. Stunning for swimming, sight seeing, running, walking. I was walking at one stage and saw dolphins playing amongst the swimmers in the early morning.

Enjoy the sunsets, enjoy watching the camels go home, and watch the 4WDs exiting the beach. Don't rush after sunset, especially on the slightly cloudy evenings. The longer you wait, the more amazing it gets.
