Though local guides use a word free for this attraction, you only can enter the building and shopping area, but the tour cost $17 AU for seniors/student. But when you get inside and go through presentation , you will be happy that you came. Gold melting process is a unique process, and the presenter Andrew delivered it with lots of... More

Been looking at products for a long time, first time in Perth took the chance to go to the Mint. Okay it more tourism than actual mint, but service is great. Worth the visit.

My wife an I enjoyed the guided tour of the mint, and watching the pouring of gold to create an ingot was very interesting. I would recommend visiting the mint and taking the tour.

This is a very kid friendly museum. It is quite small but well worth the visit. It has a great shopping place as well. Gold everywhere!

this was a very interesting visit. $12 takes you on a tour to see gold poured into a gold bar and learn about the history. For that price why wouldn't you do the tour.

Who doesn't like gold? It's a good tour, not dragged out and boring. Our children really enjoyed it also, aged 9 and 13. The Tour Guide info was informative and fun, great for all ages. You can wander around and browse yourself after the introduction. A fun part (depending on how busy it is and the queue) you can weigh... More
