A group of teachers and senior students enjoyed a night out with a difference last Tuesday. To help to inspire the students, who are writing ghost stories, it was decided to take them on the Auckland Ghost Tour. It was apparently the first school group they had hosted. It was an enjoyable and informative evening but for me perhaps it... More

We had a great night with Te Oka Toi, he was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about the history of Auckland, and the deaths that have happened here! Thanks heaps

Don't get fooled. This is nothing more than a history lesson. It is misleading and false advertising. All i can say about the other reviews is they are easily pleased. You walk around the city while the guide tells stories. Wow. It is barely even dark, no "lit lanterns" as advertised. Waste of money. Don't do it

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Ghost Tour. The owner/tour guide was funny, interesting, entertaining and passionate about his job. We learned a lot about the history of Auckland & Maori culture and got to see some back streets that we may otherwise have missed. There's a fair amount of walking involved but it is at a slow pace... More

Wow this tour was amazing - I'm an Aucklander and enjoyed this just as much maybe more than the tourists - fascinating and hilarious and historically intriguing...This is such a good night out and fabulous alternative to the movies or going out for dinner. Cool date idea too.

If your looking for something different to do in the evening then try the Auckland Ghost Tour. In 2 1/2 hours you will learn about some of the more unusual sides of Auckland, and learn some history along the way. The guide / owner was really passionate about his story telling and there was also some humour along the way.... More

Not only would I highly recommend this great ghost tour, but I can't wait to be back in Auckland and then be able to go on the other ghost tour in Auckland cemetry... Thank you for taking me through time along so many Auckland's blocks or houses and buildings I would certainly not have walked through. Or if I had,... More

Thoroughly enjoyable tour of the city. Definitely a ghost walk, loads of fascinating stories and information. Well worth doing whether you are a tourist or call Auckland home.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the whole tour and obviously is very passionate. I would like to have had the time to take some of the other tours that they offer.
