This was the second visit in 12 months taking my grandson to this place. Very dissapointing this time round. The Dinosaurs and feeding the crocodile the only high points. The petting zoo consisted of some goats and chickens with a few rabbits and birds. Given...More

We left the creek with mixed feelings, the butterfly house was amazing and the train was awfully, close to a rip of. It's a nice och good place for the family and specifically the kids. But stay clear of the train.

At $18.00 for viewing the small butterfly enclosure and farmyard, seems a little expensive. However, the cafe was a redeeming feature. Average price but definitely above average variety of food, presentation and service.

We travelled to Butterfly Creek from Whakatane for my 30th birthday with our 4 kids! It was awesome. Something for everyone! Watching the feedings and the butterfly release were worth planning your visit around. Was worth the trip over! Thanks guys :)
