Great Introduction to Olives

Very interesting to learn about olive trees, the harvesting of olives and the production of olive oil. They also explain the different types of olive oil.

Lovely show and tasting room! The staff were informative and helpful. They produce olive oil and wine as well as carry other products. Tastings were explanatory and as they have won several awards and recognition for their oil it was a surprise to find out about the micro climate and the soils that help, produce such fine oils here. Jumped off the hop-on-hop-off bus on a whim. I certainly didn't regret it. I never knew olive oil could taste so much...and so different. A great and eye opening tasting session later and I left with a bag full of goodness. Don't miss their skincare range, the raspberry hand creme is to die for. They close at 15.00 so don't... More

Very informative. Takes you through the picking of the olives to production of oil. Many types of olives grown on the island. The tasting was eye opening. Taste 3 oils and some spreads. Can taste the quality. Worthwhile visit.

I enjoyed 4 different olive oils during the free tasting along with a couple relishes. All were good. You can also see the olive trees out back.

Lovely time and learnt a lot about Olives, and the preparation of Olive Oil. They have their own cold press machine! I highly recommend a visit when in Waiheke Island!

Lovely place where you can go on an informative tour of the olive processing plant, sample the various oils and enjoy the sun in the pretty little patio area.

There were 4 oils and all tasted great and quite different to each other. The tamarind chutney is delicious as was the herb spread. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are soaps, skin creams, ceramics, etc available to purchase. We didnt do wine tasting but that was also available.

We stopped at Rangihoua Estates on a wine tour of Waiheke Island, but the main focus here was the olive oil. Our group saw a video explaining how the olives are removed from the trees and pressed for their oil. Back in the tasting room, we were able to try four varieties, a couple of which had won medals at... More
