The Tram ride between the two sites was my personal highlight, very interesting afternoon out. The Museum Of Transport is fascinating with a huge amount of in-depth information and displays.

Pleasantly surprised to see some new displays. Take your time and read some of the information and you'll enjoy the experience even more. Recommend going on the Live Day, which is the Third Sunday each month.

This is an amazing museum. If you're an airplane buff you'll love this place. There are planes from several eras to view and read about their histories. Had a great time and spent several hours on a leisurely strole thru this museum.

my advice would to not bother finding a motel specifically near motat, rather look into the best motels in central auckland . it's not very far from the central city
