We visited during the start of the summer and the weather was amazing which meant we could sit out on the deck chairs in the Main Street. We stopped for lunch and watched the world go by, it's a lovely little place.

I was driven around in a car and shown the Parnell area, the houses are beautiful and most have been restored - typical wooden New Zealand houses. Now quite a high end residential area of Auckland
