It's a nice part of Auckland to wander around, in combination with Wynyard Quarter and Viaduct Harbour, but mostly you'd be there for the plethora of eateries on its periphery!

As per the title, a good place for a stroll and to take in the sites, specifically all the super yachts at anchor ... some of which can be chartered. A good place to start out from in terms of finding a place to have a dinner or just a dessert or maybe even just a coffee, with plenty of... More

If you're a boatie and looking for somewhere to meander around on the weekend or visiting Auckland this is a great option. Close to lots of eating places and reasonable parking and transport facilities.

We live in St Heliers and have a delightful beach front, but it cannot compare with the Wynyard Quarter and America Cup Village where Hip meets Hop and sunshine makes the place absolutely magical. So, when we want to pick ourselves up, we head off to the America Cup village and water front for a bit of that "Anytime magic".... More

Very interesting vessels, if you have the time take a cruise on one of the America's cup winners, it's a blast.

A friend and I went on two Americas Cup ships. It was a match race. Everyone was invited to help, which of course I did. "Grinding" is hard work and we were very hungry after. Hard decision which restaurant to choose. There were many. We ate outside, the weather was so beautiful. We also found a grocery nearby that sold... More

If your traveling to New Zealand be aware that it closes at 9pm. But, if you find yourself in Auckland and fancy your night life to go on a little longer the only real place to head for is the America's Cup Village. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, usually with live bands and entertainment. Nice for a walk... More
