had a wonderful walk around one tree hill. The tracks are excellent and the views spectacular. We didn't walk to the summit but we did go up by car to the top. The views are well worth it but there is not very much parking.

Perfect for a weekend walk, One Tree Hill is beautiful and full of sheep and cows (as it is a working farm), and the hike up is challenging without being impossible. The walk from the summit down is beautiful and leisurely, with vast expanses you...More

You’ll love the park here, just breathing that air and everything about it was amazing. I loved the cafes/restaurants they had here as well.

Lots of walking and climbing . city bus is awful, $5.50 per person one way. One line does not know about the other and you cannot transfer. Pastoral, picnics. Nice cafe. Interesting trees. Called one tree but that was cut down, controversy.

Stunning 360 degree views over central Auckland, great place for a walk on a sunny day. Also lots of sheep!

Parking certainly is a constraint but the view is great despite the very strong winds. A lovely point to take pictures of Auckland.

Does that it says on the tin really! But it has great views across Auckland and a nice place to take family and relax.

Yes there are suburban bus routes from the city that pass by , but no specific return buses . Depending on which side you start the walk will vary from 10- 15! Mins without photo stops :)
