We decided to check out the mall on a rainy day. It is quite large and there is lots of opportunity to spend your money. There are 3 large stores in the complex, a Countdown, Warehouse and PacknSave. Most of the mall is enclosed so it is a great place to explore on rainy or cold days.

Can buy most things in this mall! A lot of clothing shops. A movie house, cafes, restaurants, food court, electrical shops, pac and save is a big grocery store, Bank of New Zealand.

Lots of clothing shops males and females. Enough to shop til u drop. We found the food variety lacking in good quality choices. The usual noisy food court with cheap choice, just what the kids love. Not a good place for those who need to sit down and rest for a minute or two so don't take your elderly. There... More

If you are in town and want to visit an example of NZ retail in a mall this is the pick - great design well managed good mix . The centre has expanded under a freeway and it works

I visit Auckland three or four times a year and a visit to Sylvia Park Mall is always a must do. Ideal for tourists staying downtown, too ... so easy to get to! Light, airy, spacious and clean ... a food court and a licensed restaurant/Pub Lane ... food choices for everyone :-) Same goes for all the various "shops"... More

I love this mall, it's big, clean, roomy, well organised with plenty of car parks (although it can still take a while to find a free spot). It features the usual fashion brands as well as two supermarkets, an appliance store, an Hoyts cinema and a huge Warehouse. There is a separate fast food food-court and a restaurant area better... Had a morning shopping here. Really nice indoor centre with great choice of shops. Not high class, plenty of bargains. Lots of choices for food and drink too. There's an outdoor area half way along the long row where they have a nice Carousel which proved very popular with the families. Good looking building and well kept throughout.

Very easy to get to as it's on the main Eastern line from Britomart. Based in Christchurch, so I thought it was just a more spread out Westfield Mall with the added bonus of some extra shops; Zara, Kookai and H & M! It's nicely spread out, with some restaurants in between so you can have a rest and get... More

I'm not that keen on malls as a rule but when there's one with Zara and H+M, I have to make an exception. There's plenty of parking and an excellent range of fashion shops, as well as all the big practical shops - hardware, furniture, electrical goods etc, corralled over the road. There's a cinema and a large selection of... More

A great shopping centre for the shopaholics. Lots of shops including the usual chains, but others too. The food court is a bit ho hum, but there are cafes and restaurants as well so plenty of options. Loads of parking.
