Of Auckland and easy to get to by public transport from city. Good range of coffee shops and casual eateries along Richmond Rd. Not as much to see and do as nearby Ponsonby.

Interesting suburb - interesting shops. We stayed near here and found it a pleasant suburb which is fast being gentrified. Good Thai restaurant - Erawann Thai.

Houses feel like they are one on top of the other. To find parking is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It didn't impress me at all.

This is a young trendy suburb, so why is it not lively and doesn't have nice shops to have a look at and good cafes?
