Wow-my husband and I could not have asked for a better day or more fun aboard the R. Tucker Thompson. We met so many fun people and enjoyed a day on the water. Climb the rigging and enjoy the view from above, take a hand...More

I know, I need to polish up on some new adjectives. Even in a light fall rain, the trip was just so mellow and kickback. The staff was so cute, the young woman captain ran a great ship. So, there are differences in words between...More

Kia ora - it sounds like your holiday in New Zealand was a great one and we're delighted to be one of the highlights of that tour. It don't think "scones" translate to any languages, it's a quaint English delight which is best served in...More

This was so cool to go on a sail in this tall ship. Now before you picturing the Black Pearl, it was a but smaller and more of a working vessel, but you get to be part of the crew, helping set sail, and can...More

Yes we are a bit smaller than the Black Pearl, and our crew aren't quite such ruffians - you need to sail the Lady Washington for that! But very glad you enjoyed your taste of tall ship sailing on board our "good ship" and great...More

I highly recommend spending the whole day out on the R. Tucker Thompson and getting to grips with how a tall ship sails. You can do as much or as little as you want, but it was great fun to help haul up the sails,...More
