The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers developed the first operation in the world in Rotorua back in 1997. Rotorua remains the ONLY location in New Zealand where you can experience this amazingly fun and bizarre activity. With a new site just 5 minutes from the town centre with a hill that is almost twice as long, you can ride with 1, 2 or 3 people inside the same H2OGO (with warm water in winter or cool water in summer),race against your friends, or try the Harness OGO where you are securely strapped in and sent rolling head over heels through the trees down our custom designed harness track.OR … try our BRAND NEW ride; THE FISHPIPE!A new and unique type of water ride where you slide for over 600 metres! Further than the longest water-slide in the world!Up to 3 riders, 75 litres (20 gallons) of water and a barrel that spins at up to 45 revolutions per minute (although we can slow it right down for the kids and those of you with nervous dispositions.)If you’re riding solo, you can slide, try to run inside, or even try surfing on your feet. With 2 or 3 riders inside you slip and slide together in a tangled mess ... backwards, sideways, frontwards, upside-downwards and whose-foot-is-that-in-my-mouthwards.Open 364 days from 9:00 to 5:00pm in all weather conditions, do not miss out on this unique New Zealand invention. No bookings necessary.

Yesterday a coworker and I went to check out Ogo's first time ever night event, Oglow -- all three tracks were open for night time rolls to celebrate the winter solstice. We had such an amazing time. The staff were super friendly, helping get rides...More

Had a really great time. Will definitely do it again. Would love to try to do it with 1 or 2 friends inside the ball.

Like the best water slide imaginable! Water was nice and warm which was good as it was 9am in winter and hot tubs ready for when you get off the ride :) the change rooms have heaters (no showers though) to keep warm while getting...More

Definitely do it. It was a unique, fun, carefree experience. They had changing rooms that you can access before and after the ride. Bring your swimsuit and towel. They have pictures for sale after the ride, but we brought our own waterproof camera inside during...More

I'm in my 50's so viewed this attraction with a bit of trepidation when we went. You are essentially put into and then sent down a hill in a big plastic ball. You can do it 'dry' or 'wet'. It was a cold, wet day...More

Amazing fun!!! We just did two runs and wish we did twice as much! The cold and rainy weather didn’t bother us at all. While you wait to get in your OGO there are hot tubs so you’re never left standing in the cold. Friendly...More

We brought our 2 year old along (can't zorb until 6 unfortunately), so we had to take turns going down, which was fine. I did the sidewinder, which I highly recommend, and my husband did all 3. He said sidewinder was his favorite. Zorbing was...More

Seemed like a simple attraction but more fun than I could even imagine. Whizzing down a hill in a ball filled with water was the highlight of my day, the employees inside were friendly and helpful and the attendant outside was entertaining.

You can go there anytime during the day, but I suggest you check their open hour from OGO Rotorua page on TripAdvisor. It's different at different season.
