We went on a Thursday, bus driver collected us, entertained us on the way, he educated us and showed our dear chief what to do. The dancing and food was amazing, the lamb was cooked to perfection. Unforgettable. Well done

Best option is to stay a night or 2 in rotorua. You can fly up but probably cheaper to get a Mana or Intercity bus. They will pick you up from your accommodation in rotorua and drop you off after the performance.
