Polynesian Spa is New Zealand’s leading international day spa. In a picturesque, tranquil setting overlooking Lake Rotorua, visitors can enjoy a wonderful fusion of relaxing hot spring pool bathing, sumptuous spa and massage therapies and picturesque lake views. Polynesian Spa has the use of two types of hot mineral water, one alkaline and one acidic, that are the unique point of difference of the operation. Many thousands of visitors to the spa have attested to the remedial effect the hot mineral waters have on such ailments as muscular complaints, arthritis and rheumatism. The Priest and Radium springs are most noted in this respect. We invite you to experience this World Top Ten Spa (natural/thermal/medical), as voted by readers of the prestigious Conde Nast Traveller magazine for several years and once again in 2011. We look forward to welcoming you to Polynesian Spa.

A friend and I went to the adult pools at the end of the day for sunset, thinking it would be a relaxing experience. The reception area and outside is deceptive. Both areas look modern however when you go through to the baths and changing rooms its another story. There were literally hundreds of squawking seagulls nesting right next to... More

Great looking from the outside and generally clean inside bit looking a bit tired and quite expensive for what it is. Choose your time carefully so as not to compete with thousands of Asian tourists. That said a good experience

My significant other and I booked a deluxe adult pool ($58) on the weekend after a long run. The deluxe offerings got us a little pool overlooking the seagulls squawking and frenzying metres away. We werent offered towels or robes or any frills. We waited in a 'lounge' on glorified foot rests and when a couple came out of a... More

My partner and I spent a wonderful afternoon here after a long drive. We spent some time in the 4 outside spa pools before having a totally relaxing massage followed by our own private spa and a healthy lunch. The staff are very friendly and the experience was wonderful

We went to the Polynesian Spa on a very rainy day as we were not able to do any of our outdoor activities. The different pools were nice and this was a relaxing experience. The views were not that exciting but we went on a rather foggy rainy day. I would not go to this spa on a hot day... More
