Our family went along to an awesome evening, wasn't sure what to expect, not into crawly things but it wasn't scary and we all had a fab night. We were able to chill and have some drinks while the kids played the various large sized games on the grass. The meal was 5 courses served during the evening and all... More

Some interesting native species and a few interlopers. Plenty of flora and fauna, particularly birds and fish. Kiwi house may be a little disappointing, the chances of you seeing the kiwi is not that great, but you have to try.

My partner and I went here on a trip around rotorua.. the charge was around $70 for both of us.. with cups of food each. Being up close with the animals was AMAZING.. however most of them farm animals that can be seen and fed on cheaper places.. walk around was beautiful and the staff were great.

can't say this one felt like value for money. The exhibits were good, but there just aren't that many of them. Café food was good and price for food wasn't too bad. Loved the water ride. The attendants should probably tell people about spray jackets, or a sign put up to say they were available (not that I needed or... More

As title says we spent most of the day there. Lots of enclosures to investigate, experiences such as being up close with some native birds and observing a neat bird show. Loved the Big Splash, the kids and us went on it 8 times. Cafe is also reasonably priced in comparison to other Rotorua attractions. Would go again.

A good place to spend a few hours slowly wandering round the park and looking at all the different animals AND learning a bit more about them. Of course the SPLASH ride is the ultimate in fun and the ride is included in the entry price so a bonus

The park itself is nicely set out with big clear pools of trout and lots of bird enclosures , the bird show is really fun our kids loved it . The water ride stole the show although we did get slightly wetter than anticipated it was worth going in twice !! A return in the evening to see the kiwi's... More

One thing I really wanted to see on our trip to New Zealand was a kiwi. We saw them in their enclosure but were really luckly to be in the right place at the right time and be invited to see a kiwi have a health check up. I was soooooo excited! It was an honour to see one close... More

This nature park does enable you to get a good close up of some of the native flora, go inside to see the Kiwis. There are also out side exotic bird enclosures, Kaka enclosure to watch the playful bush parrot play. See the endangered North Island Weka and the Kea enclosure. The staff are very knowledgeable so make sure you... More
