Definitely great value. Unlike most jet boat rides which are pretty short this one gives you a slower trip one way to let you take in some scenery and give you some information about the area, and time to explore an isolated geothermal area before...More

As mentioned by others, it's really kind of three trips in one. Part one is your start off going down river somewhat leisurely to a place called Orakai Korako - a volcanic area whereby you spend another hour or so hiking around (part two) on...More

Someone we knew that went to New Zealand told us to make sure we go on a jetboat while we were there. So we looked it up online and saw this company. They also had something called the Squeeze. It looked interesting so we decided...More

We have a need for speed. This requirement was not completely fulfilled on this riverjet tour. However! We did enjoy the hike on the geo-thermal area! It was beautiful and mystical all at the same time! Our guide, Cam, was pretty quiet but that may...More

We took the trip to Orakai Korako using the Riverjet. On the way out it is a more leisurely pleasure boat type of journey with occasional stops to look at something of interest or for a short piece of history about the area. We were...More

Hi - I'm a contact lens wearer. Would this be a problem if I do the Squeeze, in other words, is the water so strong that I could lose one? I often swim and shower with them in (as I wear monthlies) and I can't see far without them! We're visiting the area in April in case that's relevant. Thanks.

A friend of mine is rather curvaceously proportioned. She would love to go but is worried about the "squeeze " part. Just how squeezy is it ?
