St Faith's integrates both Maori and traditional decoration resulting in a beautiful but simple church, with fabulous Maori panels and a stunning stained glass depiction of Christ in a Maori cloak. On the shores of Lake Rotorua the church is in a beautiful setting and...More

St. Faith's is a lovely little church that truly shows the culture of the region. The memorial to Maori who served in the New Zealand military is quite unique and touching. The volcanic activity in and around the church is very unique as well, resulting...More

Always take our overseas visitors here to see Christ on the Lake glass window. Also love all the Maori carving and panels.

A guide from the museum pointed us in this direction and we were very grateful. The church is a peaceful place and very well kept.

The Maori influence was very interesting, especially the "Maori Christ" walking on the waters of Lake Rotorua. A quiet, spiritual, and beautiful setting. The area around the church is definitely worth a visit, away from the commercialized areas.

This Anglican church is only a few hundred yards from the centre of Rotarua but for me it's the setting that takes my interest. The area is open and contains a Maouri meeting house and a very interesting and unusually set out graveyard. There is...More

Always visit here when in Rotorua, a very spiritual and special place for us and our family, just love to spend quiet time here in the Galilee chapel looking at the Maori Christ walking on the water.
