We stayed here on the recommendation from the Rotorua iSite visitor information centre. This place proved excellent value for money with our camp fees including access to the pools for as long as they were open. We found it a lovely spot to camp and although very basic, it has all the amenities you would expect from a caravan park... More

We came here for a quick pit stop on our New Zealand road trip! We were not disappointed!!! We decided to pay the extra for the private pool which included a 40minute soak in your own private pool, towels, cold drinking water and access to the public pools. The private pool was amazing and felt super romantic, it overlooked the... More

My husband and I came here during our honeymoon. The views from the pools as beautiful. There were many different pools to visit with different temperatures. We wanted to relax and lay on the lounge chairs however there were only four chairs available in the private pools. I would definitely come back here in the future.

Each time we go to Rotorua or Taupo we head here. We all love it. It's so relaxing with several pools at different temperatures so covers all bases. There's no fanfare, what you see is what you get. It can get busy during the holiday periods but if you pick your time of day you will get some peace and... More

We appreciated the beautiful surroundings and the clean and pleasant pools. There was no commercial hoopla. A short trail leads you to the spot where the boiling hot water gushes from the ground. The signage explains the Hot Pools. We loved soaking in the various pools. Frequently we saw staff members checking the temperature of each pool. We also stayed... More

This is a great place to visit - we've been here a few time with friends and family. Its less swanky and less busier than De Brets but is arguably better. Its quieter as it is much smaller. That said it is well maintained and has some lovely thermal pools. You can have a bite to eat here but it... More

Despite intermittant rain we enjoyed a soak in the many pools. The water temperature of up to 38 degrees penetrated into our tired bodies. There was one swimming size pool plus quite a few smaller pools. The scenic drive made the experience worth it.

I went in 2 thermal pools (not private) in March 2017. I thought it was good, but not great. The main pool was closed for maintenance. A few pools I put my foot in weren't that hot. I found one that was relaxing, but not much different from my spa at my Health Club. I didn't get a map to... More

Good but not as good as the Polynesian pools. Not as professionally run. Especially when you factor in the 60k round trip to get there and back
