Amazing atmosphere and food

Highly recommend! Such an awesome atmosphere and food was delicious! Can't wait to go back. Baby chow is good if you are wanting a variety and the cocktails are yummy!

The only good thing about this restaurant is the concept, from there it's down hill. PLEASE people this one is bad, the level of cooking is poor...first year apprentice level. Attempting japanese cuisine or a fusion concept of it, requires years of training....there wasn't a Japanese insight let alone a qualified chef. We eat out often and love Japanese cuisine... More

Had to wait 1 and a half hours for food, when it arrived most of it was overcooked or burnt. Very disappointing service as well. Will not be going again.

We had dinner here, it was a little bit like tapas. where you order a number of small dishes. They were all lovely and the resturant is very relaxing and has a lounge area also

We arrived at the snug before 5pm to find every table was reserved, even though many remained empty for some time. Ended up at a bar leaner. Would be great if some tables were reserve free. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was tasty. I really like the ambience, decor and layout of the Snug. The... More

They took my name and number and said someone would call me back in an hour or two to confirm the booking. Three hours later I called them back to try again make the booking. This time I was informed... More

This place looked good and was full and buzzy when we popped in to book an hour ahead but by the time we got there (8.30) the crowds had dispersed and the staff were inattentive. We waited without being greeted and table service was slow . Our drinks order was forgotten however the food was good. The toilets were disgusting.... More

The snug lounge is exactly what it sounds like, is in part of white hart hotel? yes the chowdown is great value - though alot of it is fried...great for couples or groups of friends, with good service and wine list. The next time I went was kind odd though. Was inbetween a busy spell and got weird service and... More

I went out with a group of friends one Friday night. This was a first time visit and We booked in advanced and were seated immediately when we arrived. We ordered the chow down and found the selection good and the some items different but the food delicious overall. The service was pretty good although it was very busy so... More
