A team of volunteers care for this forested park full of character trees such as groves of kauri, rhododendron and camellia. Natives and exotics combine for a wonderful experience. Donation boxes allow visitors to show their appreciation for this 'labour of love' Taupo treasure.

Well set out gardens, good walking tracks that would take a push chair or wheel chair. An oasis not far from the city.

Wonderful garden - if you are short on time, just drive thru. Or, stop off at the various signposted walks, and/or take a picnic and enjoy your meal in a grassy spot with lake views. Loved the lake views, bird life, and variety of plants....More
