Enjoyed watching this play with my Aunty. A great migration story. Not normally how I would spend a Tuesday night but glad I tried something different. It was a bonus attending the opening night with the wine and nibbles after the play.

We have been to this establishment numerous times all of them memorable. Have been living some many miles away so have not visited as regularly as we would have wished. Sorry to report as at October 2013 it is closing any day unfortunately!

Tickets are a bit more expensive than Bats, and the productions are a lot less traditional than Circa, but Downstage is a safe bet that you'll see something great, different, and worth your time and money.

The programme from Downstage is usually a little more "artistic" rather than mainstream but the plays I have been to have been enjoyable, memorable and well performed.
