Safe and cozy small beach and rock pool area on the South Coast between Island and Lyall Bay.Restrooms and off-road car parking available. Awesome views looking towards Cook straight and South Island. One of my favourite beaches in Wellington.

From Houghton Bay a short walk takes you to this Bay.It has a nice small beach and ample car parking facility as well as good restroom and changing facility.Above the beach the seawall has collapsed but it has now been repared and further improvements are in the pipeline.the beach is safe as it is in a sheltered position.

Beautiful bay and relaxing, you can sit there and watch the plane land and take off, I find it therapeutic, you can. Also park you car the and go for long walks down to Lyall bay or to Island bay..

beautiful and unusual place, with its clear, dark blue water and white rocky pools. And its night sky can be really stunning.
