We had a late lunch at the winery, before a wine tasting. The staff were very friendly and efficient and service was excellent. The setting and facilities are absolutely beautiful, so if possible try to get one of the seats inside, with a window view. The menu has a range of options, from share plates, to small meals and mains.... More

We visited on a damp morning, and Hector led us through their wines with style and aplomb. A thoroughly enjoyable visit

Bottles were in the $20-75 range. Try to taste "the Honourable" pinot noir - it was fantastic! She was able to accommodate an entire tasting of reds even though whites are their focus. She was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk with. It was lovely looking out over the Vineyards and The Winery itself is massive and very impressive.

Our group recently had a tasting session at Wither Hills winery in Blenheim. Juanita was a great hostess - very informative but fun too. Several of our group made purchases following Juanita's talk. Thoroughly recommend a visit to Wither Hills !

Even if you don't want lunch or to taste the excellent wine this is still an interesting stop. A beautiful building with a winery unusually large for New Zealand. Go out on the upstairs deck for a nice view.

The setting, atmosphere and service are all excellent. A number of seating areas are available for wine tasting and eating ranging from indoors, or outdoors at tables or bean bags on a grassed area. The view of the vineyards from the terrace is delightful. The staff member who looked after us had an excellent knowledge of wines both locally and... More

This review is solely about the restaurant and recommended accompanying wines. Obviously they showcase local produce. They have platters from breads/oils to mixed platters of chutneys, cheese pickles and charcuterie, seafood etc., Starters start from 17.00 for home made soups through to prawn salads at 23.00 We started with the breads and oil, sukkah and seasonal dips. It was just... More

Sadly disappointing. Food was good, wines, of course, very good. But a bland impersonal mass-produced feel about the experience. We called ahead to make a reservation. Phone went through to message bank, so we left a detailed message and asked for a call back. None came. We turned up to find that our booking had not been recorded. Senior staffer... More

Stopped by here as part of a cruise excursion. The facility is very nice and there are good views up on the porch. There are grape vineyards all around you. We did a tasting in the downstairs barrel room and that was a good setting for our group.

We met friends from Nelson and toured a very small part of the Marlborough wine district. Wither Hills is highly rated so it was a sure stop. Most of the wines we tried were sauvignon blanc or Pinot Noir. I must admit to a bias as we are from one of California's premier wine regions, but the wines were nothing... More
