Great session, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Nothing pretentious and very relaxed. Loved comparing the Envoy and Spy Valley brands!

Spy Valley was our first stop during our self-guided wine tour across Blenheim. We really appreciated the wonderful and attentive service from staff. They even kindly researched the different liquor stores we could locate their wines in Canada (as Canada doesn't allow private shipping of New Zealand wines). The staff were very well informed, and it was a fantastic start... More

A slightly out of the way winery. Cellar door staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds are open, and visitors are welcome to walk around. It would be ideal if snacks/ platters and drinks were available for the younger family members, as the gardens are lovely, and there are picnic tables outside. There is a bucket of toys available for... More

This was our second stop on our bus tour. This winery has some very good wines including a beautiful Savignon Blanc. The staff are very knowledgeable and answered all the asked questions. The tour (free) through the processing and bottling areas was very good. The bottling staff even started the labelling machine to show our group how the machine worked.... More

I wish they did food - then it would have been five stars. A platter with our tastings would have made my day. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the outdoor seating area had space for our toddler to buzz around. There are wonderful views, and tables near the vines are great for sitting and tasting the wine. We made... More

What a lovely venue, a great outlook. Interesting side line sales for those unusal wee presents. But hey - we were here to try their wines. Good tasting, really nice wines, and good knowledge. A bit disappointed, a bit of a nibble to break up the wines I find is usually helpful. Overall a nice experience, great wines.

This was a highlight of the trip! Fantastic service from Ashley, was busy but she coped like a champ. Super wines, and you could taste anything on the wine list. Oh and shipping in NZ is free! Really great experience!!!

Enjoyed a nice tasting here late on a Friday. We are sure they were about to close but the young lady was extremely helpful. A unique angle to this place is the "spy base" story. Nice range of wines.

Lovely venue, roaring fire and served a great variety of wines to taste, with a knowledgeable lady asking questions, finding out our likes etc so we maximised the time and tasting. Always happy to answer our questions, recommend this venue and the wine
