Love the different animals, we got to feed a lot of them. Seeing a real Kiwi was awesome but you have to look really hard. Almost like a nature walk as you move around the place. Great little farm yard where you can touch the animals and a really nice picnic area, which sometimes offers pony rides.

Beautiful meal out, included in price was free entry to park so viewing animals at leisure was fun. Also able to feed some animals their evening meals.

We visited Willowbank on a lovely sunny day. The various animal enclosures were well looked after & there was an amazing range of different wildlife to see. The failure to see the kiwis in the KiwiHouse was a major disappointment however as the kiwi is nocturnal, it was not a huge suprise. Recommend to be prrepared to spend 2-3 hrs... More

I little out of the way, but worth the visit, there is quite a lot of information and wildlife in a relatively small area. A good starters guide to NZ wildlife if recently landed in Christchurch.

Great family activity for young kids, with a broad mix of wild and domestic animals. Also a great place to see kiwi, tuatara, takahe and wallabies.

We visited Willowbank reserve on a sunny afternoon in January, while touring New Zealand, and what a lovely surprise it was. Easily navigated pathways with wild life at every turn, from the unusual to the more recognizable. The cheeky Keas posed for photos, and once in the dark of the kiwi house, after a little patience, there in front of... More

My parents and I weren't sure how to spend our 2nd day in Christchurch so we did a google and this place came up. IT WAS SO GREAT!! The layout was fabulous, as it kept you on a path so you wouldn't get lost roaming around, and there was so much wildlife roaming around with you! They also allowed you... More

Our guests loved it there were chickens and ducklings wandering around. We fed the eels petted deer, goats, pigs, ponies, sheep. We're entertained by a cheeky Kea and spent ages watching the Kiwi in the nocturnal Kiwi House. Staff were very helpful.
